While we are able to fund a significant portion of our operating costs through registration fees and other fundraising activities, we cannot cover all of our expenses.Operating costs for a single team are typically $1000-$2000 (depending on the age division) for a single season. Sponsorships from individuals, groups and businesses, not only ensure that each team is fully equipped with uniforms and equipment, but also provides scholarships for girls who cannot afford the registration fee, help fund softball clinics and field improvements. All funds are used solely for the benefit of girl’s softball. In addition, we have a “wish list” of major field and equipment improvements that we would like to make to our home fields at Cubberley Community Center and are seeking interested donors. We hope that you will consider sponsoring a PAGS team this year. Our sponsors are a critical component of our funding base that allows us to meet the needs of over 300 young softball enthusiasts who happen to be girls from ages 5 -15. Our goal is to identify a community sponsor for each of the approximately 30 teams we expect to field this year. |
